LAS VEGAS
Chasing the thrill in sin city
Las Vegas has a certain appeal that’s quite hard to pin-point… is it the bright lights of the big city, the showbiz scene and superstar residencies, the pool parties and renowned DJ’s in the biggest clubs, or the draw of the dice in the countless casinos? This desert metropolis has all of the above (don’t worry, you don’t have to go clubbing!) along with some spectacular properties to enjoy on your next holiday.
With daily flights from the UK – including the launch of Virgin Atlantic’s direct service from Manchester from June 2024 – Las Vegas is a great option for a short break, but also easy to combine with another destination; perhaps visiting more of the big USA’s hotspots or ending with a beach break in Mexico. With a fantastic range of city sights and day trips alike – have you even been to Vegas if you don’t see the Grand Canyon? – our travel experts are here to help you plan your perfect adventure.

Where to stay in Las Vegas?
the Cosmopolitan
A luxury resort in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, The Cosmopolitan doesn’t disappoint. With a range of rooms & suites – we recommend the Wraparound Terrace Suite boasting incredible views over the Bellagio Fountains -its very own ‘pool district’, world-class entertainment venues and collection of more than 25 bars & restaurants, it’s a fantastic location from which you can explore everything the city has to offer.
Nomad las vegas
Part of the Park MGM Group, the NoMad Las Vegas offers a slightly more residential feel, decorated with a distinct New York sensibility, ideal for those looking for a little less ‘glitz & glam’. Providing a great location with easy access to the iconic residencies of Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga and others at the Park MGM theatre, along with pristine pools to relax during the day; unwind in your own private cabana for a spot of luxury.
Circa Las Vegas
A pulsating hive of activity, bringing the best that the city has to offer, energy and excitement emanates from Circa Las Vegas. With 777 rooms & suites at this Downtown resort, wake up in timeless, yet luxuriously appointed retro-style. Chill out in your choice of 6 pools across 3 different levels for a perfect view of the 40ft tall HD screen – the ultimate sports-screen. With a 3-story sports betting venue & casino, you’ll certainly be busy!
Wind Dancer Sunset Tour
Take a flight from the Las Vegas Strip and start your journey to one of the world’s greatest natural wonders, The Grand Canyon. Soar over the iconic Hoover Dam while enjoying panoramic views of Lake Mead and the Mojave Desert.
The ground drops away as you enter the majestic canyon and fly for over 10 miles through this geographic marvel before you descend and land 3,500 feet below the rim on Hualapai Indian Territory. Champagne, beverages and light snacks will be served some 300 feet above the mighty Colorado River. On the return flight, witness the stunning red rock formations of the Bowl of Fire and diverse views of Lake Mead and the Las Vegas Valley, concluding your adventure with a breathtaking sunset flight over the Strip.
Things to do in Las Vegas
Throw of the Dice
It goes without saying that Las Vegas has no shortage of casinos - arguably the grandest in the world. From your favourite slots, to casino floors filled with every Table imaginable, to private high-roller rooms bookable through our Concierge Service - and can be found in many of the hotels on the Strip - try your luck... you may even win big!
Catch A Show
It's hard to visit Las Vegas and not be drawn in (or indeed visit specifically for) the incredible entertainment scene. From cabarets and showgirls to pop-star residencies, to enchanting acrobatics from a range of Cirque du Soleil productions, there's something to wow everyone (and the air conditioning is always welcomed!).
Shop Till You Drop
As you're wandering the Strip, you may be tempted to cool-off inside one of the many shopping malls, designer boutiques and perhaps the occasional souvenir store. Wynn Plaza and the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian are fantastic places to spend a few hours; they're also destinations in themselves - why not take a gondola ride to sit back & relax?
Grand Canyon Tour
Whilst we'd recommend a luxury helicopter tour, there's a number of ways to explore the Grand Canyon and surrounding sites. Explore the history, perch on the edge of Skywalk - 4,000ft above the canyon floor below - and venture out to walk the Hoover Dam, or even opt for an extended self-drive tour of the South Rim to immerse yourself.
Delicious Dining
It may not be the first thing that enters your mind, but Las Vegas has an outstanding food scene, including some of the highest rated celebrity chef kitchens in the world. From the new Lotus of Siam restaurant to the largest steakhouse in the city at Resorts World, there's food to please all palates, stomachs and wallets - street food to Michelin.
